Leg 6 - Cedeira Spain

andrewmorrisey

Cedeira is a municipality in the province of A Coruna in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain. It is situated in the northern coast of the Rias Altas. Cedeira has a population of 7,412 inhabitants

Our first passage where we had no wind for half of the trip so it was a very calm and comfortable motor ride all the way. We run off one engine at a time alternating half way. It uses about 3 liters of diesel per hour.

By noon time the winds came up so we could fly the Code-D and shut down the engine.

Still cleaning up red Sahara sand off the boat.

Light house on it's perch.

Orchard?

At anchor in the harbour. No marina, no docks.

Took the dingy to town to walk around.

Don't tell Andrew but I was the mastermind behind buying a new catamaran, in particular the Elba45, and sailing the world.

I love to travel, cook, ski, sail and world adventure.
